Charles Laurie

Charles Laurie, age 86 of Watertown, passed away on Friday June 10, 2016. Devoted husband to the late Filomena (Vettrano) Laurie. Loving father of Robert & his wife Margaret 'Peg' of Framingham and Charles and his companion Cheryl Phelan of Plymouth. Also survived by 3 grandchildren: Robbie, Melissa and Ashley and 5 Great grandchildren. Funeral from the Nardone Funeral Home 373 Main St. Watertown on Wednesday June 15th at 9 AM followed by a 10 AM funeral mass in St. Luke's Church in Belmont. Burial with Military Honors in St. Michael's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday June 14 from 4 to 7 PM.

Mr. Laurie served the the US Navy during the Korean War, and was also wounded in the war.  He was also a life time member of the John F. Kennedy Chapter 44 of the DAV, where he also served as a past commander.  Mr Laurie also was an usher at St. Luke's Church for over 40 years.
