           Catherine 'Katina' (Nestor) Smerlas, a resident of Waltham, at the age 91 passed away peacefully on Saturday February 3, 2018.

           Beloved wife of the late Peter Smerlas. Loving mother of Peter Smerlas & his wife Elaine, Frederick Smerlas & his wife Christina and Charles Smerlas & his wife Mary Grace. Dear Yia-yia to Peter, Maggie, Zach, George & Katie. Great grandmother of Ayla Katina and Harrison Robert. Sister of Angelo Nestor and the late Nick & William Nestor.

           Funeral from the Nardone Funeral Home, 373 Main St. WATERTOWN, Thursday at 9:00 AM followed by services in the Greek Orthodox Church Taxiarchae, 25 Bigelow Ave., Watertown at 10 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 - 8 PM in the funeral home. Burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
