Angelina S (Diodato) Mahoney

Angelina S. (Diodato) Mahoney, age 85, of Waltham passed away on January 16, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.  She was predeceased by her husband, the love of her life of 65 years, Howie Mahoney.  Mother of Daniel and his wife Karen of Arizona and Laureen Byrne and her husband Kevin of Sudbury. Grandmother of Jason Mahoney & Colleen Mahoney-Faherty, Kevin & Jennifer Byrne. Great-grandmother of Owen & Evan Mahoney and Stephen & Caileigh Faherty.

Born in Watertown on December 15, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Leunora (Parrella) Diodato.  She worked at Raytheon Company for over 30 years until her retirement in 1993.  Angie enjoyed her daily routine of walking the river and going to the gym.  She enjoyed spending her time with family and friends, but her passion was spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren.

Services from Nardone Funeral Home, 373 Main Street, Watertown. Friday, January 20th at 8:00AM, followed by a 9:00 AM  funeral mass at St. Patrick’s Church, Watertown.  Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
